1. Acceptance

By using www.indileaf.co (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please leave the Site. The Site is operated by Indileaf Ventures LLP (“Indileaf”, “we”, “us”), Gujarat, India.

These Terms apply to your visit to the Site, to the forms on it and to the files you can request from it. They do not replace a sales contract; see section 4. If you use the Site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that company.

2. Trade-only site and age notice

  • The Site is intended only for business buyers, trade professionals and others acting in the course of a business, aged 18 or over.
  • Indileaf supplies unmanufactured tobacco (leaf, lamina, scrap, stems and dust) to businesses. We do not sell to consumers, and we do not sell finished tobacco products.
  • By entering the Site and submitting any form, you confirm that you are 18 or over and acting for a business.
  • Tobacco is regulated differently in each country. It is your responsibility to make sure that buying, importing and using tobacco in your country is lawful, and that you hold the permits and licences required.

3. Business information, not consumer promotion

The Site is business-to-business product information. It is not directed at consumers or at minors, and it is not an invitation to use tobacco products.

  • We do not run consumer advertising, sponsorship, giveaways or promotions for tobacco products.
  • We do not use imagery of people using tobacco products.
  • Market and trade commentary on the Site is for general information only.

4. Product information is indicative

Only a written contract, proforma invoice or sales confirmation accepted by Indileaf governs a sale. If the Site and the contract differ, the contract governs.

  • Specifications, descriptions, images, typical values (such as nicotine, moisture, size, grade, packing and HS codes) and typical uses shown on the Site are indicative only. They are not a warranty, offer or quotation.
  • Tobacco is a natural product. Values vary by crop year, region, lot and test method.
  • Samples and sample test reports describe the tested sample only and may not represent a whole lot.
  • Capacity figures are indicative and vary by season; volumes and schedules are agreed per contract.
  • Availability, where shown, is subject to change and confirmation.

5. Enquiries, samples and orders

  • Submitting an enquiry or a sample request is not an order. We may decline any request, including where we cannot document or ship to the destination.
  • A contract is formed only when both sides have agreed it in writing, as described in section 4.
  • Import permits, licences, registrations, duties, taxes and compliance with the law of the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the contract says otherwise.
  • We may carry out buyer identity and trade-compliance checks before dealing with a new counterparty.

6. Your use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • submit false information, or information that belongs to someone else;
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
  • scrape, copy or republish Site content for commercial use without permission;
  • interfere with the Site, or try to gain unauthorised access to it or to its systems;
  • send spam or malicious code; or
  • use the Site, or anything taken from it, to market tobacco products to consumers.

7. Documents

Specification sheets, sample reports and other files offered in the Documents section are for your own internal business evaluation. Please do not publish or redistribute them, or present them as your own. They are indicative under section 4.

8. Intellectual property

The text, design, logos and images on the Site belong to Indileaf or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation. Any other use needs our written permission.

10. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law permits, we make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or current.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, Indileaf is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or business, arising from use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Liability for any sale is governed by the sales contract.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data submitted on the Site. It forms part of these Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes about the Site fall under the courts of competent jurisdiction in Gujarat, India.

Sales contracts may state their own governing law and dispute method, which then apply to that sale.

14. Changes and termination

We may change the Site or these Terms at any time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may restrict access for anyone who breaches these Terms. Sections that by nature should continue, including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability and governing law, continue after access ends.

15. Common questions

Can a consumer or individual use this site to buy tobacco?

No. The Site is for business buyers only. We do not sell to consumers or supply finished tobacco products.

Is the information on a product page a quotation?

No. Specifications and typical values are indicative. A sale exists only under a written contract, proforma invoice or sales confirmation accepted by Indileaf.

Does a sample guarantee the specification of a full lot?

A sample and its report describe that sample only. Natural variation between lots is normal, so the quality terms of a sale are agreed in the contract.

Who handles import permits and duties?

Unless the contract says otherwise, the buyer is responsible for import permits, licences, duties, taxes and compliance with the destination country’s law.

Can I share a specification sheet with a third party?

Downloaded files are for your own internal business evaluation. Please contact us if you need to share them more widely.
