The finder
Set the filters that match your process
Filters work in any combination. Rows sit under their form, and near-identical grades share a single family line, so one row can cover several grades. Nicotine is given as a range, with the as-is or dry basis confirmed lot by lot.

How to read it
What each column tells a buyer
Nicotine, typical
The usual nicotine percentage for the grade. Basis, as-is or dry, and test method are confirmed for each lot. The two bases are explained in dry basis vs as-received reporting.
Form and origin
Form names the product family. Origin names the Indian growing area and type, such as flue-cured Virginia (FCV) or Gujarat leaf.
Sand and stem
Where a row asks for your limit, we agree the figure with you and write it into the contract and the specification. Give us your limit when you ask about a grade.
Packing and HS code
Packing sits under each form. Under the Harmonised System (HS), unstemmed leaf is 2401.10, stemmed or stripped leaf 2401.20 and tobacco refuse, meaning stems, scrap and dust, 2401.30; check your national tariff line.
Weighing one grade against another? Read the guide to dust for extraction and reconstitution, and quality parameters buyers should specify for the lines a specification should carry.
Questions
Questions about reading the grade finder
What does nicotine band mean?
A nicotine range, in percent, that groups grades for a quick shortlist. Pick the band that suits your blend or process, then compare the families inside it. Stems and stem or stalk dust have no stated band, so they show only while the band filter is off.
What does high-nicotine scrap mean?
Scrap made from Gujarat leaf, also called high-impact scrap, offered in four nicotine blocks: Standard 1.0-3.5%, Medium 3.6-4.0%, High 4.1-4.5% and Premium 4.6-5.5%. Figures are percent, with the basis stated per lot.
Are these values final?
No. The table gives working ranges. Confirmed values arrive with the sample and its specification sheet, and each figure states its as-is or dry basis.
Can I test before ordering?
Yes. The link on any row carries the grade name into the request, and we settle sample size and courier when we reply. Every dust batch carries its own certificate of analysis, and a sealed retained sample is kept per lot.
